Don Tepman – Founder and President
Don Tepman founded University Avenue Partners in 2010. Mr. Tepman oversees all aspects of the Company’s operations and investment decisions, and has grown the Company’s portfolio to over $100M in assets. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Santa Clara University, and grew up in Cupertino, CA.
Maria Talpas – Senior Acquisitions Associate
Maria Talpas spearheads the Company’s property acquisition efforts, and has been involved in the Bay Area commercial real estate industry for the last seven years. Maria grew up in Los Gatos, and graduated from CSU Chico, where she majored in both Finance and Economics, and graduated with Honors.
James Martin – Acquisitions and Asset Management
A graduate of Purdue University, James is involved with all aspects of the Company’s day-to-day operations. His role within the organization includes asset management, overseeing redevelopment projects, negotiating leases, and acquisitions analysis and evaluation. In addition, James augments our business development efforts in the brokerage community.

*2910 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose: Directly adjacent to Santana Row and across from the new Bloomingdale’s project at Westfield Valley Fair, this is a 15,000 square foot project that is currently undergoing a complete remodel, including new facades, site updates, storefronts, the addition of a suspended walkway, among other improvements. (Construction anticipated to be completed in late November, 2016)
*2725 El Camino Real, Santa Clara: This is a 20,000 square foot shopping center that is currently undergoing a full overhaul and modernization. (Construction anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2016).
*1856 Camden Ave, San Jose: Recently completed built-to-suit for The Sherwin Williams Company (NYSE: SHW)
*4391 Treat, Concord: Recently completed renovation of former Coco’s restaurant, converted into Mel’s Diner
*Brentwood TownCentre: Shadow anchored by Safeway and CVS Pharmacy, the project includes tenants such as Togo’s, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, as well as other national and local tenants
*3495 Clayton Road, Concord: Retail property leased to Goodwill
*Tracy Shopping Center: This is our newest acquisition, and is a long-established 50,000 square foot shopping center that is currently undergoing a facade modernization.
*Tracy Crossroads: Tenants include regional and local tenants, including Verizon and De Afghanan
